Lori Marshall is the Co-founder and Vice President of “The Arizona Paranormal Society”. She
has a college degree in forensic science and has also been certified in accident and crime scene
photography. Her educational background is an added asset to the team when analyzing and
collecting evidence on investigations. Lori has had her own experiences with the unexplained
and is dedicated to try and understand what is behind the paranormal phenomenon. Due to her
extreme interest in the paranormal, Lori is working hard in due diligence to answer some of the
bigger questions surrounding the paranormal. Lori approaches every investigation with an open
mind but never loses sight of the scientific methods that must be incorporated into each
investigation in order to maintain the highest level of integrity in regard to
all evidence collected and analyzed.
Randy Arbogast moved to Arizona in the mid 90's to pursue his career as a special effects
artist. With nearly 20 years of experience in the film and television industry, Randy has made a
name for himself as a Halloween concept designer and on-screen effects artist,
working in conjunction with many companies in Arizona as well as nation wide.
Horror movies have always been his passion. For Randy, it's Halloween year round, but it is his
fascination and I guess you could say, "respect" for the paranormal that drives him.
Angie Smith was born and raised in Portland, Oregon and moved to Arizona in Sept of 2002.
She married her husband Ken in 2003 and had her daughter Ashely in Dec. of 2004.
After working on site at Swift Transportation for almost 15 years, she has now decided to
pursuit a career in Nursing. She hopes to begin classes this fall. Angie and her family lived a
quiet life in Estrella Mountain until January of 2006. This is when their lives were turned
upside down. Things started flying off her dresser, large objects were being tipped over in the
middle of the night and she began recording voices that did not belong to anyone in the family.
She tried to explain it away as natural occurrences or her imagination but she realized she
was dealing with more than her imagination. After several different groups investigated
her home and confirmed for her and her husband that they were not alone,
it really inspired her to want to help other people experiencing
the kind of problems Angie's family had faced. (If you would like to hear some of this evidence,
check out the T.Az.P.R.S. YouTube investigation videos from her house). She has now been an
investigator for almost a year and a half and loves the work she does with the group. Its a
great feeling to her knowing she takes part in helping those that may feel hopeless and not
know where else to turn. Because she was in that situation, she has a lot of empathy for those
we help and feels honored to be a part of the TAZPRS team. She looks forward to all the great
things that are coming up for the team in the coming year.

"My name is Frank Madrid and I am Founder and President of
“The Arizona Paranormal Research Society”.
I have been interested in the paranormal since I was 9 years old when I experienced numerous
“happenings” in my home (not all pleasant). In 1967,while living with my family in National City
California, I was physically tormented as a child by numerous entities in our home. I come from a
family of "seers" and feel that I am highly in tune with the energies that are around me.
There was a time in 1989 at my family’s business in Phoenix, AZ that I was visited frequently by a
young girl spirit who liked to play pranks at night after business hours. I have experienced many
sightings on my journey, such as full body apparitions, energy emitting spheres, misty apparitions,
and objects moving on their own, believe me, some experiences can never be forgotten.
Due to my extensive exposure to the paranormal, in 2006 I was prompted to found “The Arizona
Paranormal Society” which is now known as "The Arizona Paranormal Research Society". We have
been conducting extensive scientific research into obtained evidence of the paranormal. Our
research has included the use of experimental custom made energy emitting devices to assist in
spirit communication. We believe that in most cases these devices can provide spirits with the
necessary energy needed to communicate as well as possibly manifest themselves.
We have found that these devices work well for EVP research allowing some EVP to be
audible to the human ear as it is being recorded.
As our research and analysis continues to grow with each paranormal investigation, we offer our
help and support to those who believe they may be experiencing paranormal activity. Our focus is
on helping the client by providing education, understanding and support for them as well as
conducting experienced paranormal investigations along with scientific analysis of any obtained
evidence. It's all about Arizona's historical locations and communities as well as each and every
one of our investigator's passion to be involved in this paranormal pursuit.

death. Gino has experienced many circumstances concerning the paranormal.
February of ’05 he moved into a house that had a lot of activity.
He and Frank have enjoyed documenting recent happenings as well as branching out to do more
investigations as a team. Gino has kept an open mind, thanks in part to his degree in Psychology
as well as his past and current experiences.
Jacquelyn Yocum  is an Office Manager and Optician for a private eye doctor. Born in
California in the late 60’s she has always had the desire for an understanding of the
paranormal. As a young girl she spent her summers with family whom lived directly in front of an

Brian Diez is one of our newest members. His interest for the Paranormal gradually developed
over time. He has reached a point where he feels he needs to understand the paranormal world
enough to be able to make friendly contact, record and prove to others that there is more in
this world than meets the eye. Brian has successfully completed our first PARA 101 class,
which brought him one step closer to his goal. His first investigation was with us at the
vulture mine on the 10th of April 2010. His contribution to the investigation mirrored high
interest, know how with electronics, having an open mind and the patience an investigator
should always have, yet can’t wait to go on his next investigation. He feels comfortable with
the team and is looking forward to working with them on future investigations. Brian was born
in Cologne, Germany and spent approximately half his life there and the rest to this date here
in Arizona. Having the opportunity to live in two different countries allowed him to be bilingual
in both the English and German languages. Brian is also a trained automotive technician and
enjoys fixing things, which puts him at the level of a “tech freak.”
His career path changed recently. He went up a few steps and is now
a Data Analyst / Translator for an engineering firm.

Karen Latour is a graduate of the TAzPRS Para101 class. She is a native Arizonan but has
lived much of her adult life in Cologne (Koeln) Germany. She is a trained Medical Assistant but
now works for a major Bank in Phoenix Arizona. Because she had lost many of her loved ones
early in her life, she also began showing interest in the spiritual and in the paranormal early
on in life. Through the years she has experienced things of a paranormal nature in her home in
Germany as well as in her Glendale Arizona home where she now resides. She would like to find
the evidence that will prove to the world that our spirits don’t die just because our bodies do.
She is inquisitive and wants to experience all things paranormal. She has great respect for the
other team members and enjoys working with them. She is looking forward to gathering lots of
evidence and lots of experience of the paranormal.
