Dr. Barry E. Taft, who holds a doctorate in paraphysiology with a
minor in biomedical engineering, is a world renowned
parapsychologist who worked out of UCLA’s former
Parapsycology Laboratory from 1969 through 1978 as a
research associate. During his four-decade career, Dr. Taft has
investigated more than 4,000 cases of ghosts, hauntings,
poltergeists and conducted extensive studies in telepathy and
precognition, eventually developing the initial protocols and
methodologies for that was later termed “remote viewing”. He
also was himself investigated as a psychic subject, the results of
which were published in Behavioral Neuropsychiatry, “ A
Laboratory Investigation of Telepathy: The study of a Psychic”,
Vol.6, Nos. 1-12, April-December 1974-January-March, 1975.

One of the cases Dr. Taft investigated in 1974 gained
international fame as the book and motion picture, The Entity,
staring Barbara Hershey, released by Fox in 1983. Dr. Taft served
as technical director on The Entity as well as being represented
in the film by the character, “Gene Kraft”. What’s unknown by the
media is the fact that, in real life, The Entity followed its female
victim for quite some time after our initial investigation,
continuing its vociferous nature. The victims current whereabouts
or condition is unknown.

Dr. Taft has appeared on numerous TV and radio programs
including CBS News, KNBC News, Strange Universe, Unsolved
Mysteries, The Joan River’s Show, A current Affair, Hard Copy,
Sightings, Judge for Yourself, The Extraordinary, The Montel
Williams Show, The Wil Shriner Show, The Suzanne Somers Show,
was a recurring guest on NBC’s The Other Side, Haunted History,
Mysteries & Scandals, ABC’s World’s Scariest Ghosts Caught on
Tape, The Girls Next Door and most recently the Sci-Fi Channel’s
An Unknown Encounter & California’s Most Haunted (highest
rated shows in Sc-Fi’s history) for which Dr. Taft also served as
creative consultant and technical advisor.
Born in Asheville, North Carolina, Joshua P. Warren has lived in the
Blue Ridge Mountains his entire life. At the age of 13, he wrote his
first published book. Since then, he has had nine more books
published, including the regional best-seller, Haunted Asheville, and
How to Hunt Ghosts (released by Simon and Schuster), and is the
president of his multimedia productions company, Shadowbox
Enterprises, LLC. His articles have been published internationally,
and he has been covered by such mainstream media as CNN, Fox News,
Southern Living, Delta Sky, FATE, New Woman, The New York Times,
FHM and Something About the Author; and made the cover of the
science journal, Electric Space Craft. A winner of the University of
North Carolina Thomas Wolfe Award for Fiction, he wrote columns
for the Asheville Citizen-Times from 1992 to 1995. His first novel,
The Evil in Asheville, was released in 2000.

An internationally-recognized expert on paranormal research,
Warren was hired by the famous Grove Park Inn Resort to be the first
person to officially investigate the Pink Lady apparition in 1995 (the
same year he founded L.E.M.U.R. paranormal investigations, of which
he is president). Warren also led the expedition that captured the
first known footage of the elusive Brown Mountain Lights,
eventually resulting in scientific breakthroughs, via experiments
Warren led in the lab, that help explain most of the lights and many
mysterious, natural plasmas (such as ball lightning) that occur
around the world. His work has been praised by the Rhine Research
Center, The North Carolina Center for the Advancement of Teaching
(or NCCAT, for which he gives annual presentations) and numerous
scholars such as New York Times best-selling author Dr. William R.
Forstchen, Dr. William Roll, Dr. Andrew Nichols, and legendary
researchers such as NASA engineer Charles A. Yost, Oak Ridge
National Laboratory engineer David Hackett, and
authors/researchers Loren Coleman and Patrick Huyghe.
He has consulted for government, business, and law enforcement, including the Central Intelligence
Agency (CIA), Office of Naval Intelligence (ONI), National Security Agency (NSA), Defense Language
Institute (DLI), Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA), Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency
(DARPA), the FBI, Interpol, LAPD, California Highway Patrol, Santa Barbara Sherriff’s Department,
and the Westminster Police Department. He has served as a technical advisor or script doctor on the
films Logan’s Run, Demon Seed, Altered States, Poltergeist, and the Entity. Dr. Taft has written
numerous articles for magazines and journals, and has been featured in many books on the
paranormal subjects ranging for precognition to UFO’s.

Warren has appeared on the History Channel, Discovery Channel, Travel Channel, Sci-Fi, and numerous
networks affiliates of NPR, ABC, NBC, and CBS. He is frequently asked to be a guest on radio shows
around the world, especially Coast to Coast AM with George Noory/Art Bell. Warren is also an
international award-winning filmmaker (including Hollywood.com's Top Underground Filmmaker of
1998), having worked on many sets, such as Warner Brother's My Fellow Americans, Universal's Patch
Adams, Paradise Falls, Inbred Rednecks, Songcatcher, and Sinkhole.

Warren works as a radio host for Clear Channel, the largest radio corporation in the world, primarily
discussing politics on Take A Stand with Matt Mittan, the #1 talk show in its region. And since January,
2005, he has hosted a weekly paranormal program, Speaking of Strange, airing Saturday nights on
News Radio 570 WWNC. It's rated no. 1 in the region Saturday nights, reaching up to four states and
streaming live worldwide on the internet.

Warren has a notoriously busy schedule, and a seemingly unprecedented variety of ambitious projects.
For example, in one year alone, 2004, his book How to Hunt Ghosts was released in Portuguese in
Brazil; his one-man documentary Alone in A Haunted House was released nationally and, within one
month, became the all-time best-selling documentary for its distributor; his research/experiments made
the cover of a science journal for the first time; he began work as a professional radio host; produced
a national paranormal conference; traveled the country and the Bermuda Triangle/Bahamas on major
research expeditions, such as studying "Death Touch" martial artists in Chicago; and wrote, produced,
directed, shot, and edited a feature film on a $1000 budget. Each year, he usually leads a public
expedition to amazing paranormal sites around the world. For more information visit
www.ParanormalExpeditions.com. or www.BermudaTriangleBase.com

For pleasure, Warren enjoys playing a variety of musical instruments.
Warren has been a featured speaker at:
*The International UFO Congress in Nevada

*The GhostFest on the Queen Mary

*The SCCS Conference on Cryptozoology

*and hosted the A&E Psychic Cruise

Yes, it's time for our annual Paranormal Conference. It has been a busy year for us at T.Az.P.R.S.
and we have had some very interesting investigations and experiences. As our research
continues with every investigation, we have found that breakthroughs are currently being made
with equipment, theories and hypothesis. The T.Az.P.R.S. team has been experimenting with
experimental energy emitting devices that our Tech Director Randy Arbogast has created for us
and the results have been quite exciting.
Last year's T.Az.P.S. Paranormal conference was a big success, and as promised to the
attendees, this year's conference will be bigger and better. We have invited some great speakers
to speak on extremely interesting topics as well as the paranormal research that is being
conducted to date for your enjoyment and amazement on this full day's grand event.
Main speakers will include...

Biographies on these world renowned gentlemen can be found below.

"The Arizona Paranormal Research Society" will have its own members speak as well. They will be
covering a wide variety of paranormal subjects focusing on Electromagnetic fields, Electronic
Voice Phenomena and aiding spirit communication with the addition of various energies.
A wonderful display of intriguing examples of paranormal evidence obtained will be presented
as well.
Speakers will include...

Mr. Barry Conrad
Barry Conrad
Occupation:   Documentary Producer &
Cameraman
Private Interest:   Paranormal Researcher

Barry Conrad is originally from Hamilton,
Ohio. He started his career as a TV news
cameraman at WKRC-TV in Cincinnati
working under the auspices of
anchorman/reporter Nick Clooney (father
of actor George Clooney).

When Barry was 12 years old he overheard
a friend of his mother’s discussing the
paranormal incidents taking place in her
new home on the outskirts of Fairfield,
Ohio. Doors would slam shut of their own
accord, objects moved around, and the all
pervasive odor of smoke would sometimes
filter through the house. One night her
son nearly jumped from the balcony of an
upstairs bedroom, feeling that he was
being asphyxiated by an invisible fire.
Barry was impressed by the woman’s apparent sincerity, and from then on developed an interest in
supernatural matters.

After a five-year stint in Ohio, Barry was offered a job as news photographer in Denver, Colorado. He
worked for KWGN-TV and later moved over to KOA-TV (the NBC affiliate station) shooting both news
and feature stories. In 1986 he moved to California, where he eventually started his own production
company:
Barcon Video Productions.

In 1989 Barry was called to investigate the haunted home of Jackie Hernandez in San Pedro,
California. Jackie’s claim of malevolent, ghostly activities, including the sighting of a disembodied
head, was just the type of investigation Barry was looking for. The result of the investigation yielded
the hanging and attempted murder (by the phantom) of one of the investigators. The ghost followed
Barry back to his apartment and proceeded to terrorize him with poltergeist behavior there.

Barry filmed the case and later made it into a documentary titled “An Unknown Encounter.” Segments
of the story later appeared in an anthology film that he produced in 2002 called “California’s Most
Haunted”. Both shows garnered high ratings when they aired on the Sci-Fi Channel’s “Tuesday De-
classified” series in 2003.

Barry is currently producing a trilogy of UFO documentaries called Monsters of the UFO. The first
episode, "The Incident at Kelly" was released in 2006, and won the 2008 International UFO Congress
award. The "Incident at Kelly" covers the apparent 1955 landing of a UFO and subsequent gun-battle,
with strange little men from rural Kelly, Kentucky. The event spawned the term "little green men."

Second in the series and scheduled for release in 2008 is "Mothman: Man, Myth or Monster." This
documentary details the incredible events surrounding a flying winged humanoid that culminated in the
mysterious destruction of the Silver Bridge in Point Pleasant, West Virginia.

The final story covers the legend of "The Flatwoods Monster". A 10 foot tall creature was spotted by
seven witnesses after the landing of a UFO on a country hillside. All documentaries consist of
historical records, eyewitness accounts and recreations. Barry’s journalism background provided the
avenue for well-researched information, while his many years as a cameraman assures the highest
quality in filmmaking.

Fall of 2008 schedules the release of Barry’s first book, "An Unknown Encounter", based on the San
Pedro haunting and DVD by the same name.
